Mathematical Science Course trains human resource personnel, who can solve various problems mathematically by utilizing knowledge of algebra, geometry, analysis, and applied mathematics.
Materials Physics and Astrophysics Course is for engineers and researchers who can contribute to technological innovation through the scientific sense developed by their knowledge of materials physics and astrophysics.
Applied Computational Science Course trains human resource personnel who can solve various problems in an advanced information society using mathematics and data science.
Frontier Materials Chemistry
Organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and analytical chemistry, develops and deepens our basic understanding of chemistry, and can be mastered from various lectures and experiments conducted here.
While allowing students’ curiosity and creativity in chemistry to grow, this course trains human resource personnel who can work towards the integration of new functional substances and the development of innovative energy conservation technology.
Global Environment and Disaster Prevention Sciences
In addition to accurately dealing with the earth and its environment based on physics and chemistry, education and research of the entire earth as a series of systems is conducted.
In this way, human resource personnel who can respond to issues in mankind’s future, such as global environmental issues and natural disasters, are trained from a viewpoint close to the local region as well as from the global viewpoint.
Electronics and Information Technology
The aim of this course is to train professional technicians who have knowledge from the basics to the application of electronic engineering, communication engineering, information science, and other areas integrated within these, and have the skill and education to support technological renovation in the electronic information field. This course aims to teach students how to flexibly respond to situations in various fields of an advanced information society from both the hardware and software perspectives.
Mechanical Science and Engineering
The Intelligent System Course is a frontier in training the next generation of flexible thinkers who will lead intelligent sciences and mechanical engineering, and emerge as leaders in future technology throughout the world.
The Medical System Course is leading in training the next generation of highly skilled experts who will challenge the future of biomedical engineering.
Sustainable Energy
Renewable energy is related to various fields such as science and engineering, humanities/social sciences, and economics, and we need human resources who can study various energy problems from a bird’s-eye view. The Faculty of Sustainable Energy develops human resources who can comprehensively understand energy problems on a global scale and develop future energy resources and build systems for energy conversion, transportation, storage, and use.
