Overview
We train teachers who will create and lead educational practices aimed at resolving educational issues facing Aomori Prefecture, based on reflection through the exchange and integration of theory and practice.
The purpose of this program is to conduct in-depth educational research in the various sciences of educational science and subject pedagogy, and to train educational personnel with the competencies to create and lead advanced educational practices.
Courses
Educational Practice Major
The Department of Educational Practice is a place to train teachers who will create and lead educational practices aimed at solving educational issues facing Aomori Prefecture, based on reflection through the exchange and integration of theory and practice. The curriculum is designed to nurture the four skills required of teachers: the ability to develop independently, the ability to explore issues, the ability to reflect, and the ability to collaborate. There is a “Middle Leader Development Course” for in-service teacher graduate students and “School education practice Course”, “Subjects Teaching education practice Course”, “Special needs education in school practice Course” for graduate students with an undergraduate degree. Upon completion of the course, students are awarded a master’s degree in teaching (professional) and can obtain a professional license.
